RCAA participates in Community Read; reception/awards April 27

See artwork by River City Art Association members with a unique perspective.

The Vigo County Public Library in Terre Haute is hosting a collaborative art show with Wabash Valley Art Guild and River City Art Association.

A reception with awards is scheduled 6 to 7 p.m. April 27.

This is part of VCPL’s Community Read 2023. Artwork is inspired by the featured book, “The Authenticity Project,” by Clare Pooley. Themes include Community, vulnerability, honesty with yourself and others.

Participating RCAA members include Edith Acton, Debra Butler, Steve Harrold, Mike Lunsford, Mary Mayhew, Elise Spaid-Roberts and Thomas Wright.

Visit the library to see the art, vote for your favorite piece. Pick up a free copy of the book and learn about other events with the Community Read in April.
