‘Immersive Art’ discussion at April 11 meeting


River City Art Association photographer Debra Butler will present on “Immersive Art: Wave of the Future?” at RCAA’s April 11 membership meeting in the Vigo County Public Library at Terre Haute.

Debra will share media from a recent visit to see artworks by Claude Monet and other impressionist painters featured in Monet & Friends Alive, the second immersive art experience featured at THE LUME in the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Newfields at Indianapolis.

Debra’s presentation will include discussion on her 2022 trip to see THE LUME’s first immersive art exhibit on Vincent van Gogh.

RCAA’s membership meeting is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. It and the program are open to the public.

Monet & Friends Alive can be viewed through April.
