Art show during ‘Mamma Mia!’ and film festival at Community Theatre of Terre Haute

Mixed Media: “Beach Heart” by Marcia Norman

An invitational art show during performances of “Mamma Mia!” in Community Theatre of Terre Haute will showcase works by members of River City Art Association.

Some of the artists will attend CT’s opening night performance and reception on Friday, Feb. 8, in the Carolyn Toops Gallery.

Shells and sea glass were used to create “Beach Heart,” the mixed media wall art featured here by Marcia Norman, one of RCAA’s newest members.

Paintings, drawings, quilt artistry, intarsia, photography, digital art, clay, fused glass and other media will be represented in this show.

Artwork will remain on display for theater-goers attending performances Feb. 15 through 17, and until the Indiana Community Theater Association Film Festival hosted by CT on Feb. 22 and 23.
