Sandy Fisher at Clabber Girl Nov 2018

Acrylic paintings by Terre Haute artist Sandy Fisher is the featured exhibit in November in The Gallery at Clabber Girl Museum in Terre Haute.

If you missed the River City Art Association Artist of the Month exhibit in October at the Vigo County Public Library, now is your opportunity to see some of Sandy’s floral and still life pieces with a fall theme. Two featured then and now are “Calla Lily” and “Silver Dollar Plant.”

Other paintings in Clabber Girl are fanciful yet elegant, including “The Dress,” which received the People’s Choice Award at RCAA’s 10th Annual Juried Exhibition in August in First Financial Bank Plaza in Terre Haute.

Everything she does, Sandy said, she gives credit to The Lord for giving her the opportunity to share her life’s work with others.

A lifelong member of the Terre Haute community, Sandy attended Thornton, Woodrow Wilson and Wiley High schools. She also owned and operated a beauty salon for 42 years. She also is a member of the Wabash Valley Art Guild.
