September show features People’s Choice, other winning entries in RCAA’s 10th Annual Juried Exhibition

People’s Choice: The Dress-Sandy Fisher-acrylic

Winning artwork in River City Art Association’s 10th Annual Juried Exhibition in August will be featured again in a September show in the lobby of First Financial Bank’s Springhill banking center at 4500 S. U.S. 41., Terre Haute, Indiana.

The People’s Choice is a new feature for the Springhill show. “The Dress,” an acrylic painting by Sandy Fisher of Terre Haute, was selected by patrons visiting the downtown bank throughout the August exhibition.

The September display also features “Wyatt with Oars,” the Best of Show painting by West Terre Haute artist Bill Wolfe; and “Synchronicity 227” by Mary M. Wilson of Indianapolis, Artists’ Choice determined by artists attending the Aug. 3 exhibition reception.

The winner’s circle is rounded out by first-, second- and third-place paintings, drawings, mixed media, photography and glass designs by 13 other Indiana and Illinois artists.
