RCAA’s Don Turner celebrates Black History Month at Vigo library

River City Art Association’s February Artist of the Month at the Vigo County Public Library is Donald Turner of Terre Haute.

Allen Chapel Underground by Don Turner

Don will be “sharing the cultural aspects of the black experience” in watercolors, graphite and ink.

His Black History Month-themed display includes a watercolor, “Allen Chapel Underground”; “African Tree of Life” in graphite; and “Legal Tender,” a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. dollar bill, graphite and ink.
