More than 20 works by 15 Wabash Valley artists will showcase the diverse talents of the art group.

Participating artists include Edith and Richard Acton, Della Bender, Mike Bender, Ruthann Brady, Janae Holland, Monty “Indiana” Jones, Dian D. Phillips, Judith Lynn Smith, Todd Stokes, Deanna Swearingen, Sheila K. Ter Meer, Eugene Thomas, Don Turner and Spencer Young.

Mediums include fused glass; ceramics, pottery; pen and ink, graphite, and computer assisted drawings; oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings; mixed media, assemblage collage; and abstract and traditional photography.

The art show also can be viewed weekdays between “Broke-ology” dates. For hours call the CT ticket office at 812-232-7172 or 232-7173.

Many of the same artists will show artwork in an RCAA exhibit February-March in the Palestine Art Center at 110 S. Main St. in Palestine, Illinois. For more information call 618-586-2500 or visit mainstreetpalestine.com/artcenter.

RCAA also spotlights a member’s work in it’s Artist of the Month Gallery in the Vigo County Public Library at Seventh and Poplar streets and in its AOTM Gallery in Harrison College.

In February, Don Turner will be featured in the library; and Monty Jones, at Harrison.

In March, Turner’s library exhibit will move to the RCAA gallery in Harrison; and crafts by Deanna Swearingen will be featured in the library’s display cases.

RCAA was established in 2008 in Terre Haute by founding members Debbie Martinez and her late husband Marty, Monty Jones, Ruthann Brady, Adrianus Fraza, Kit Fisher, and the late Rob Robbins.

The art group meets at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the VCPL at Seventh and Poplar streets. For more information call vice president Stokes at 812-232-0048.
