The Vigo County Public Library in Terre Haute held a closing reception for its 2023 Community Read Art Exhibition on April 27. Artwork was inspired by the chosen book, “The Authenticity Project” by Clare Pooley.
Themes in the book include Community, vulnerability, honesty with yourself and others.
Congratulations to RCAA members Steve Harrold, winner of People’s Choice and Elise Spaid-Roberts, winner of Judge’s Choice.
Christy Brinkman-Robertson, art curator at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, was the judge. Awards were provided by MuseArt in Terre Haute.
Other participating RCAA artists were Edith Acton, Debra Butler, Mike Lunsford, Mary Mayhew and Thomas Wright.
