Works of River City artist to be featured in Community Outreach Gallery

A selection of Kari Rajkumar’s artwork will be on display at the Community Outreach Gallery housed in The Hometown Savings Bank (THSB) located at 2503 Poplar St. in Terre Haute, IN.  The show is scheduled to run from Dec 13, 2022, until mid-June, 2023.

Kari Rajkumar is a primarily self-taught artist living and working in East Central Illinois/Wabash Valley area.  She works in Graphite, Pastel, Oils, and sometimes a bit of Charcoal or Watercolor just for fun.  In all her portraits, Kari wishes to highlight qualities of the subject that capture and hold her attention the longest – be it quiet confidence, or integrity, or grace of movement. Always, it is the goodness and uniqueness she sees in these individuals that compels her to memorialize it in her art.  She also credits a deep love of nature, color, and history as strong influences.

THSB is one of several Community Outreach Galleries in Terre Haute curated by RCAA.
