Designs by RCAA artists named finalists in 41/40 Arts and Cultural District’s Creative Crosswalks Juried Exhibition

Todd Stokes-Creative Crosswalks Project-Natural World

Arts Illiana Inc. and the 41/40 Arts & Cultural District in Terre Haute on June 7 announced the overall winner, four finalists, and a runner-up in the Creative Crosswalks  Juried Competition.

Two of the four finalists are River City Art Association members Todd Stokes of Terre Haute with a studio in Dennison, Illinois, and Sheila K. Ter Meer of Brazil, Indiana.

Sheila Ter Meer-Creative Crosswalks Project-Music at the Crossroad

Todd’s mural design proposal for the Crosswalk Mural Project is titled “Natural World.” Sheila’s design proposal features a bluesy guitar theme with a classic minor blues scale lick (phrase).
