RCAA members receive awards at Wabash Valley Art Guild’s 39th Annual Spring Art Show

Congratulations to River City Art Association members Edith Acton, Ruthann Brady, Elise Spaid-Roberts, Todd Stokes, Sheila K. Ter Meer and Thomas Wright, who all received honors May 3 at the Wabash Valley Art Guild 39th annual Spring Art Show in Clabber Girl Museum and Gallery in Terre Haute.

First Place awards went to  Todd for his 3-dimentional wood and etched glass sculpture, “Flocking Crows”; and Sheila for a photography on aluminum entry titled “Chihuly Glass Ceiling.”

Edith was awarded Second Place for her fused glass wall hanging “Colorful Squares.”

Honorable Mention in Photography went to Thomas for “Golden Reflections” and Elise was honored with two Honorable Mentions for her drawing, “Building Up,” and a mixed media entry titled “To The Full.”

Ruthann received an Honorable Mention for her mixed media work titled “Yuugen Cove.”

All award winning art in the show will be on display throughout May in The Gallery at Clabber Girl Museum.
