Linton gallery to feature artwork by RCAA’s Sandy Fisher

Native American-themed painting by Sandy Fisher

River City Art Association member Sandy Fisher of Terre Haute will display her Native American paintings later this month in the Carnegie Heritage and Art Center of Greene County in Linton, Indiana.

The opening reception is scheduled 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 22 in the gallery at 110 E. Vincennes St.

A book signing by Indiana author James Alexander Thom will take place during the reception. Thom, associated with the Indiana University journalism department, has authored “Follow the River,” “Long Knife,” “The Red Heart” and “Sign Talker” among others.

Sandy’s paintings will be featured in the gallery through Oct. 20.
