RCAA’s Sandy Fisher next featured artist at Gaslight Art Colony

Native American-themed painting by Sandy Fisher

Paintings by River City Art Association member Sandy Fisher will be featured in the next exhibit at Gaslight Art Colony in Marshall, Illinois.

An opening reception is scheduled 5 to 8 p.m. CDT Saturday, Aug. 18, in the GAC gallery at 516 Archer Ave.

Sandy, a lifelong resident of Terre Haute, Indiana, has been painting since she was very young. She is mostly self-taught, but in recent years she has been mentored by local artist Pat Grigg, who has encouraged Sandy to share her work with the public.  More about Sandy …

Sandy also has paintings in RCAA’s 10th Annual Juried Exhibition on display through Aug. 30 in First Financial Bank in downtown Terre Haute.
