River City Art Association congratulates member Kari Rajkumar of Paris, Ill., for her recent recognition in the 11th Biennial National Art Exhibition in the Visual Arts Center of Punta Gorda in Florida.

Kari’s fine art portrait titled “Aaronaut” received the Bowles Award for Portrait Excellence.

The 11th Biennial National Art Exhibition is sponsored by the Mary Ellen Byrd Legacy for the Arts.

The National Art Exhibit (NAE) is one of the nation’s most prestigious juried exhibitions of two-dimensional media.

Kari’s “Aaronaut” is on display through March 20 along with two other fine art entries.

“Aaronaut” also was recently selected as a finalist in the Artist’s Magazine’s 34th Annual Art Competition — an international competition of five categories.
