RCAA at Sullivan Area Art Guild Gallery Oct. 5-29

River City Art Association’s group show in Sullivan Area Art Guild Gallery will close Sunday, Oct. 29, with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. and a presentation by RCAA member and quilt artist Valerie Funk of Terre Haute.

At 2:30, Funk’s talk on “Promoting Your Artwork” will include self-publishing — printed materials and online sales — and the importance of watermarking and copyrighting your artwork. Other artists will share their experiences with personal blogs or websites, social media and online art stores.

Other participating artists in the show include Edith and Richard Acton, Rod Funk, David Gill, Steve Harrold, Monty “Indiana” Jones, Dian Der Ohanian Phillips, Pria Rahmouni, Elise Spaid-Roberts, Todd Stokes, Sheila Ter Meer, Donald Turner and Spencer Young.

The gallery is at 16 S. Court St. in Sullivan, Indiana. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays.
