Congratulations to River City Art Association members Eloise Lovell of Rosedale, Ind., and Eugene Thomas of Fairview Park, Ind., for their winning entries in the Annual Fall Show Juried Exhibition in the Bicentennial Art Center and Museum at Paris, Illinois.
An opening reception is set for 5 to 6:30 p.m. CDT Friday, Oct. 13, in the Paris Art Center at 132 S. Central Ave.
Judge Shane Lutzk chose Eugene’s oil painting, “Bowling Green East,” for one of the five monetary Merit Awards.
Eloise received an Honorable Mention ribbon for her pencil drawing, “Trotter Tangle,” artwork that also received a Third Place in RCAA’s 9th Annual Juried Exhibition in August.
The judge will attend the reception to briefly critique the exhibit and hand out the awards.
The exhibition runs through November 10.
