August exhibit by RCAA women in Clabber Girl gallery

“The World We Live In” exhibit

Artwork by six ladies of River City Art Association is showcased this month in “The World We Live In” in The Gallery at Clabber Girl Museum, Hulman & Company, 900 Wabash Ave. in Terre Haute.

An artists’ reception is set for noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 26. 

The multimedia exhibit features fused glass, acrylic, watercolor, fiber art, quilts, oil, collage, photography and digital art. It is open to the public during the museum’s regular hours now through Aug. 28.

The popular and award-winning artists include Edith Acton, Ruthann Brady, Valerie Funk, Dian Der Ohanian Phillips, all of Terre Haute; Judith Lynn Smith, Waveland; and Sheila K. Ter Meer, Brazil.
