River City Art Association and host sponsor First Financial Bank will present RCAA’s 9th Annual Juried Exhibition on Friday, Aug. 4, in the bank’s plaza at Sixth Street and Wabash Avenue in downtown Terre Haute.

An opening reception is scheduled 6 to 8 p.m. in the lobby, accessible by the the west entrance.

The exhibition features 80 entries by 28 artists from Vigo and surrounding counties in Indiana and Illinois.

Juror T. Edward Holloman, art teacher at Terre Haute North Vigo High School, will select winners in four categories as well as the Best of Show. Those awards will be announced at 6:30.

The Artists’ Choice award will be presented at the close of the reception.

The People’s Choice award winner will be determined by guests attending the First Friday opening reception as well as bank patrons viewing the exhibition during regular banking hours through Aug. 31.
