‘Autumn Beech’ by RCAA member Todd Stokes receives second honor

Autumn Beech by Todd Stokes

“Autumn Beech” by River City Art Association’s vice president Todd Stokes has been awarded an Honorable Mention in the Adult Division of the Annual Midwest Photography Juried Exhibition at the Bicentennial Art Center in Paris, Ill.

Juror Les Woodrum attended tonight’s opening reception and awards ceremony.

The exhibition can be viewed through Aug. 25. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT Tuesday through Friday; closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Free admission.

Stokes is a professional framer at The Golden Frame in Terre Haute and an artisan from Dennison, Ill., also specializing in 2-D and 3-D glass etchings.

Earlier this month, Todd’s “Autumn Beech” received a Champion award in the Open Class Digital Photography division at the Vigo County 4-H Fair in Terre Haute.
