River City Art Association member Denise Richardson has artwork featured in The Crow Show in Arts Illiana at Terre Haute. Her photography entry titled “Taming of the Crows” can be viewed through April 22 in the gallery at 23 N. Sixth St.

About the artist from twomoonsphotography.com

“Denise Richardson is a portrait photographer living in Terre Haute, Indiana.  It is through her studies and love of art that she creates Fine Art pieces for her clients and for exhibition, specializing in portraiture for women.  She was featured at the Varick Room in New York City through the Conception Emerging Artists Event in April 2015.  Her work has also been published in Dark Beauty magazine (online edition) and Inspire.

“‘I am an artist.  I am also a photographer.  It is through these two mediums that I create works that can be enjoyed for generations as wall art for clients and for competition/exhibition.  I love what I do and it is my goal to show that love through every piece that I create.'”

The Crow Show reception and awards ceremony are set for April 22 with juror and graphic artist Kevin Stark of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, also a cartoonist, writer, photographer, sculptor, toy designer, musician, songwriter, and art gallery and restaurant owner.
