The 7th Annual River City Art Association Juried Exhibition in First Financial Bank is one of several Downtown Terre Haute Inc. First Friday events planned from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7.

Two- and three-dimensional artwork by Wabash Valley artists will be featured at a reception and awards ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m. in the bank at Sixth Street and Wabash Avenue.

Juror Christy Brinkman-Robertson, Summer Youth Art Program director at Swope Art Museum and assistant curator at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, will announce winners in four categories as well as the Best of Show.

People’s Choice and Artists’ Choice also will be awarded after votes are tallied at the end of the evening.

Artwork will remain on display for viewing in the bank’s lobby during regular banking hours through Aug. 19.
