River City Art Association vice president Todd Stokes received a First Place and an Honorable Mention for his entries in the 2015 Annual Midwest Photography Juried Exhibition in the Bicentennial Art Center at Paris, Ill.

Judge Jeff Boshart, photographer and retired professor at Eastern Illinois University at Charleston, awarded Stokes top honor in the Adult, Color Division for his photo on canvas, “Autumn Haze.” The Terre Haute artist’s color photo on canvas titled “Caterpillars” received an Honorable Mention ribbon.

Peach Bandits by Sheila K. Ter Meer of Brazil, Indiana

RCAA secretary Sheila Ter Meer of Brazil, Indiana also received an Honorable Mention ribbon for her color photo, “Peach Bandits.”

The opening reception begins at 5 p.m. CDT Friday, July 24.

Boshart will give a talk about the exhibit and hand out awards at about 5:30 p.m.

The exhibition may be viewed through Aug. 28.
