‘River of Art’ exhibit opened today in Art Sanctuary

Thanks to River City president Todd Stokes, vice president Mike Bender, treasurer Edith Acton, members Dave Gahimer and Monty Jones, and others for installing RCAA’s “River of Art” group exhibition on Monday in the Art Sanctuary at Martinsville, Indiana, in time for today’s opening.

Dave provided a few pictures of the installation.

Don’t forget the opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. on July 11.

Also, some of the artists will be available to discuss their work from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.

“Artist of the Day” on July 5 will be wood turner Dave Gahimer; on July 12, RCAA president Todd Stokes, photography, glass etching, 3D sculpture; July 19, Josh Spidel, photography, and Don Turner, illustrator/graphic artist; July 20, Sheila Ter Meer, photography; July 26, Monty Jones, wildlife, landscapes, racing scenes and automobilia in acrylic.
