River City Art Association member Dave Gahimer has been personally invited to participate in the Kraftucky Arts & Crafts Expo Nov. 7-9 in the Owensboro Convention Center at Owensboro, Kentucky.
“This event will be bringing back an Owensboro, Kentucky tradition that has a history of 30 + years. With the New Convention Center we have the perfect place for this event, and a community that is waiting for the return of this show,” said Doris Sparks, sales manager, Owensboro Convention Center in Daviess County, in her invitation to Gahimer.

He is a member several Indiana galleries and art organizations. He was one of seven Indiana artists invited to display his family heirloom quality works at the recent “Spotlight on Indiana Artists at Clowes Hall, 2014″ at Butler University in Indianapolis. This is a huge honor and a fantastic opportunity! Congrats, Dave!!
As far as I can see, this is NOT a juried show, Dave said. It is Arts & Crafts, so it will probably be mostly crafts. To save on expenses Dave suggests interested members “Partner up” on a booth, or 4 people rent two booths and register as the River City Art Association. Early November is a good time to sell before the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
