TERRE HAUTE — The River City Art Association Inc. presents the photography of Ed and Kathy Cook at the Vigo County Public Library in May.

Ever since the age of 6, Ed Cook has been drawing, painting and taking pictures. Having graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in art, Cook has been perfecting his craft using his experience, imagination and creativity. Cook, along with his wife, Kathy, run a photography studio and art gallery at the Meadows Shopping Center, downstairs under Dollar General. It’s open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Call for appointments: (812) 243-3176.

Kathy earned a master’s of arts degree in vocal performance from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C. With more than 20 years of teaching and performing experience, she has produced, designed and/or directed more than 50 theatrical and musical productions.

Her expertise in all areas of theater (lighting, design, costumes, make-up and technology) makes her a valued part of the photography team at “Ed and Kathy Cook Photography.”

Together, Ed and Kathy have produced two dinner theatre shows; photographed numerous families, pets and events; recorded multiple CDs; and transferred hundreds of hours of VHS tape to DVD for Valley residents. Their business encompasses a wide variety of artistic expressions and services.
