River City Art Association will display its 2025 juried art exhibit Aug. 1-28 in the lobby of First Financial Bank at Sixth Street and Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The 17th annual event featuring works by Wabash Valley artists opens with a reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, and awards ceremony at 6:30.
Best in Show honors, sponsored by First Financial, and award winners in seven categories, will be announced by exhibit juror Rhonda Yochum, a retired Vigo County School Corp. art educator with degrees in photography and fine arts from Indiana State and Indiana universities.
The Artist Choice Award, sponsored by MuseArt Terre Haute, will be determined from votes by participating artists attending the reception; and the People’s Choice Award by patrons viewing the exhibit through Aug. 28.
Admission is free on opening night and during regular bank hours.
