River City Art Association will display its 2024 juried art exhibit Aug. 2-29 in the lobby of First Financial Bank Plaza at Sixth Street and Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The 16th annual event featuring more than 80 works by 36 regional artists opens with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2 and awards ceremony at 6:30.
Winners in six categories, as well as the Best of Show, will be announced by exhibition juror Amy MacLennan, curator at Swope Art Museum in Terre Haute.
The Artist Choice and People’s Choice awards will be determined from votes by participating artists attending the reception and by patrons viewing the exhibition through Aug. 29.
Admission is free on opening night and during regular bank hours.
