First Place in the Annual Midwest Photography Show in The Link Art Gallery at Paris, Illinois went to River City Art Association member Thomas Wright of Clinton, Indiana, for his color entry, “Reflective Past.”
Judge Alan Russell of Paris, Illinois, also selected Sycamore “Snowcap” by Sheila Ter Meer of Brazil, Indiana, for Second Place honors.
In addition, an Honorable Mention went to her entry “Sycamore Freeze.”
Also at the July 26 opening reception, Russell awarded an Honorable Mention to Spencer Young of Clinton for his entry, “Lion.”
RCAA members Todd Stokes of Dennison, Illinois and Marvetta Bee of Greencastle, Indiana also have entries in this show.
The show can be viewed through Aug. 30. The Link Gallery is located in the Bicentennial Art Center and Museum at 132 S. Central Ave. in Paris.
