River City Art Association members Sheila K. Ter Meer and Eugene A. Thomas are the featured artists in September and October in RCAA’s Outreach Gallery at Westminster Village in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Thomas, of Fairview Park, west of Clinton, in Vermillion County, Indiana, exhibits original oil paintings as well as prints of his original artwork on paper and canvas.
“I am mostly self-taught,” Thomas said. “I like most kinds of art, but tend toward realist forms.”
Ter Meer, a native of Brazil, in Clay County, Indiana, fancies abstract digital art.
Three of her four original designs featured in the Westminster gallery have received awards in juried exhibitions in Terre Haute.
Other photographic works by Ter Meer have received honors in local, regional and state competitions in Indiana and Illinois.
