Fall Leaves of Indiana by Edith Acton

Five River City Art Association artists have work featured July 1 through Sept. 23 in Arts Illiana’s exhibition celebrating the bicentennial of Indiana and Terre Haute.

Edith Acton, Ruthann Brady, Brendan Kearns and Dian Der Ohanian Phillips of Terre Haute, and Judith Lynn Smith of Waveland are among the 22 Indiana artists featured in “200 Years on the Banks of the Wabash,” a Bicentennial Legacy Project endorsed by the Indiana Bicentennial Commission.

Guest curator and professional photographer Dale M. Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio, chose two of Acton’s fused glass wall hangings for the exhibition, “Fall Leaves of Indiana” and “Red, White & Blue.”

Brady’s artwork is a mixed media piece titled “River’s Edge” and Kearns’ drone-captured photo of the Banks of the Wabash Festival in Fairbanks Park is titled “View From Above.”

Phillips’ acrylic on canvas is titled “Winding Wabash” and Smith’s “Wabash River” is an oil on canvas.
